You are probably wondering, what normal guy comes up with a book titled, "99 uses for
unused tampons". Well this is the true story. I am a 56 year old, semi-normal guy who has been divorced for 7 years and my 4
boys have been living with me for the past 6 years. It is a guy's house. I have a cleaning service come once a week to
rescue the house, -so that guests won't have to be brave to come over. I recently got engaged to a woman, who has 3 girls. They
live in a large house and they are putting it on the market. Being the stellar guy that I am, I offered to help her clear out the junk so that it can be put on the market. Little did I realize that she had never thrown out a single article of clothing her girls had worn since birth (her oldest is 18 years old!!) and she has kept every single
school report. Every drawer in their huge 3 story, 7,000 square foot home is stuffed with some sort of "junk". However, what
really startled me, is that almost every drawer had at least a few tampons or pads. In my house, these items don't exist.
Now I am a plastic surgeon, so of course, I realize they are needed. I also, understand, that those are the kinds of things that
when you want one, you don't want to spend hours trying to find one. However, does every drawer in every cabinet and
dresser need tampons?? This is what inspired this book.

I really don't understand everyone here who says this book is a "spoof" or "hysterical", clearly these people wouldn't recognize a quality how-to publication if it hit them in the face. Dr. Berman, as the world's leading expert on alternative applications for unused tampons (possibly by default), gives clear, easy to understand instructions on how to turn your unused tampons into fashionable jewelry or a moon bounce for your children. My own real estate business has been transformed since I learned how to turn mountains of unused tampons into a habitable igloo for my clients. Dr. Berman deserves no less than the Nobel Prize for his outstanding efforts for global recycling, reuse, and repurposing.Product details

Well, the title alone captured my attention. Once I picked it up, I could put it down. It was funny, useful, and I will never be able look at unused tampons the same again! One thing is clear for me, if I'm ever stuck in a situation, I can always refer to this book for a possible solution! A must read - funny & clever!
Fantastic, Quick, Hilarious...a must read. I only wish I could buy this book in a paper back version for gifts or put in our guest bathroom. It will definitely get everyone talking around the table. This actually had my 12 year old girl crying it was so funny. It had us talking for over 2hrs in the car and she does not talk to me for more than 5 min on any given day. When can we start sending in our other ideas for the #2 version of the must read book?
Hilarious, anyone that grew up with a houseful of girls or like this author did not will get the humor.
It is clever and funny and relatable to everyone that has contact with women or teen girls. You hit
the mark on this one.

Growing up with two sisters a my mom I can sim pathos with the HILARITY of this book!!! Talk about flashbacks and wishful thinking all in one. IF ONLY HAD THIS BOOK!!!! Funny read. Buy it for your 16 year old girl or 65 year old grandmother. They'll both get some belly busting laughs out of it. 0)
If you are like me, and you fall asleep easily while trying to read...this is the book for you! It's not just compact and an easy read, but it accomplishes many things. It's one of a kind, it holds your attention, it's funny, it's creative, and yes...it's useful! As I turned the pages, I am not afraid to admit I found myself saying..."hey, that's not a bad idea!" Great job. I highly recommend this book, and I am looking forward to the sequel...
I would never have been able to come up with so many uses for such a seemingly single purpose item....... A very clever book with fun artistic depictions of ideas throughout. I personally love books that are easy to read in a short period of time, while leaving me with a smile on my face when finished. I doubt I will ever look at Tampons in the same way again. Well done.................
What can I say? This book has already helped me in my daily life. Recently, I got a puppy named Louie! HE LOVES to Shred Everything around the house. His favorite thing to do, used to be, shredding paper towels. NOT ANYMORE! After seeing the many uses, not to mention the leash was super helpful, I thought he could spend hours tearing those apart. Since, I went through early menopause I had no idea what to do with all these left over tampons. Thank goodness for such a helpful book as now Louie and I are both very happy. The house is a little messy but maybe that will be the next book.
